Palmer, a Board Certified Dermatologist, is trained to evaluate and manage
pediatric and adult patients with benign and malignant disorders of the skin,
hair, nails and adjacent mucous membranes. Dr. Palmer has had additional
training and experience in the following:
~ The diagnosis and treatment of
skin cancers, melanomas, moles, and other tumors of the skin.
management of contact dermatitis and other inflammatory skin disorders.
The recognition of the skin manifestations of systemic and infectious diseases.
~ Surgical techniques used in dermatology.

She is a member of the
American Academy of Dermatology, the Iowa Dermatologic Society and the Iowa
State Medical Society (State Dermatology Representative).
Greiner is a state licensed Physician Assistant accredited by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She earned a
Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University
after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in
Radiation Science. Jordan is a member of the Iowa Physician Assistant Society,
the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Dermatology
Physician assistants (PAs) in dermatology
evaluate, diagnosis and treat a broad variety of conditions that are treated
both medically and surgically. They also perform screening exams, preventive
care and education for dermatologic patients and families. Building on their
primary-care training and experience, PAs are trained in dermatology in a
variety of ways. Most PAs work autonomously within a dermatology office much
like a staff dermatologist seeing a wide range of medical, surgical and
cosmetic patients but always with the support of a board certified
Jordan enjoys spending time with her family in her
hometown of Clear Lake and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes with her husband. She
joined Dr. Palmer and the staff at Iowa Dermatology, Inc. in August 2015.
